Please allow me to introduce my new venture and my passion…Striker Auto Repair! Many of you know my love of old cars. I’ve never met an old car I didn’t love. As an owner of several collector cars, it’s always been important to me to be able to have cars that I can drive and enjoy, not trailer around. Along with the joy of driving comes the agony of making sure they’re driveable. There’s always a dead battery, a flat tire or any number of other idiosyncrasies that plague vintage autos that must be overcome before hitting the road. In that vein, it has been an ongoing challenge to find an honest, reputable, caring, reasonable and competent auto repair center to take care of my needs. I actually had found one until Sam told me that he would no longer be able to work on my old stuff. That sent me reeling and also got me thinking. Since I have not been able to find the right mix of all of the things that make an auto repair shop great, why not start my own?And so I did!
